Structure & Organization The structure of GAP's site is pretty straight forward with a little flexibility. After you venture in the site past the index page the billboard area breaks up a bit into different sections. A listed sub-categorical navigation as well as mini ads. Graphics & Typography GAP has a very clean feel to it much like their stores. The graphics on the site are mostly photography which is complimented with color. There is even a little play with typography as to distinguish specials and sales.

Simplifying Navigation You have a few different areas for navigation on this site. There is the main category navigation, and once inside one of those the is a sub-categorical navigation on the left. They also have a viewfinder navigation on their product images to take a closer look. And if there is something you don't see right away, you can always use the helpful search bar they have provided with a jump menu to narrow your search.

Color Their background is strictly white which makes their product's colors stand out more. There borders and color swatches come straight off their product which brings the elements together better. They even use complimentary colors for headers and links.

Final Thoughts GAP certainly does make your online shopping experience a pleasant one. It's also very convenient that they merged their other company braches into one site allowing you to shop at all their stores and checkout in ine basket.
