Topic #2 - Pencils

 

What was your concept for this site?

For this site I wanted to relate the imagery to the pencil as much as I could. So I thought of all the things you can do with a pencil as well as the other things that go with them; paper, erasers, sharpeners, etc...

Basically, in this sketch I thought of the the typical "pencil and paper"; note taking and what not. This would be an actual photo of paper and pencil in the photoshop comp. For this one I wanted to show shading and erasing. The background would be all chading and the navigation would erases away on oll over.

 

Which design did you choose and why?

I chose the second idea, because I thought it was a little bit more original. I pretty much went right off my sketch for the photograph, and decided to use newprint paper to make it look a bit more sketchy.

What changes did you make to your revision and why?

I really didn't see any changes I could make besides messing with the backgrounds a little bit. This is the I site I decided to make as make final functional web page.
