What was your concept for this site?

At first, I wanted to mimic the a kind a of comic book style layout, but I wasn't sure how to go about it. I also wanted to bring in his own style as well, but I felt that displaying his work would be the best way to do that.

In this idea, I wanted to try using black and white, because most of the drawings of his work I had access to were b&w sketches. Then i just wanted to splash a bit of color.	For this idea, I wanted to focus more on color. I liked the idea of using his own characters for navagation.	As for this one, I wanted to make it as light and simple as a sketch. using just a little imagery.

 

Which design did you choose and why?

I like both my second and third ideas, however I liked the third one best becase of its simplicity and easy readibility. I also like that fact that I could easily change the background from page to page to keep the theme going.

 

 

What changes did you make to your revision and why?

The only big change I decided to make was with the navigation. In the original, it was sort of and not really realating to any thing on the page. I just paid more attention to my alignments and I think it made a significant difference.
